Behind the artist MALU is Mats Lund from Oslo in Norway.
MALU began his career as a producer as early as 13 years of age. He then started with simple note drawing in Cakewalk, since then he has developed his own unique production techniques through several different sequencers. MALU now runs his own studio in Oslo. He uses Logic on mac as his sequencer.
MALU is primarily a producer of Uplifting and Progressive Trance, but also House and Trance. He is known for his unique sounds and melodies.
MALU is dedicated to providing a unique sense and feeling on the dance floor through his own tracks and remixes. Emotional breaks with unique melodies that give chills down your spine is pretty much always a goal for him.
MALU is often played by famous DJ’s and producers and is often to be heard on several radio shows and clubs all over the world, but MALU is also a known and often played character in the underground communities.
MALU is also working closely with other major artists such as Jaco. MALU is one of two producers in the artist group “MAJA” signed on Enhanced recordings with Jaco as his co producer. MALU has a history of cooperating with artist such as Lemon and Einar K and has worked closely with other artists in other projects.
